fall back, Spring forward: my story of good fortune, friendship and the kindness of others

I designed and produced a 373-page memoir from concept through publication, developing carefully crafted style sheets to create a cohesive, polished reading experience across the book’s extensive content and imagery. In addition to the interior design and layout, I created the front and back covers and managed the publishing process through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), ensuring the final files met production requirements and guiding the book through to publication.

In Fall Back, Spring Forward, Henry Vaillant, MD, describes the forces that shaped him and paved the way to a very full, satisfying professional life as a physician who conducted research and worked in Barbados, Puerto Rico and Haiti before settling into a role that he had long admired: that of a country doctor west of Boston. The story of his life includes a family of towering figures; many mentors--coaches, teachers and friends--fascinating patients; and the professors and colleagues who guided Henry to spring forward and find his way.
