talaris therapeutics

Talaris is adapted from “talaria,” the winged sandals worn by the Greek messenger god Hermes. These sandals were said to be made from gold and protected Hermes, allowing him to fly to safety. In a similar way, the facilitating cells central to Talaris’s platform protect and deliver other immune cells to safety within the recipient patient. It’s also symbolic of how Talaris hopes to help patients live better lives “beyond the transplant”.
